WASHINGTON

Hyperloop

The future of transportation.
We are a team of University of Washington students with the shared mission of competing in the Not-a-Boring Competition.

SUSTAINABLE TRANSIT OF THE FUTURE

Current Mission

Build a prototype Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM).

Our team is harnessing the interdisciplinary talents of University of Washington students to engineer innovative transit solutions. Currently, our goal is to participate in The Boring Company’s competition first started by Elon Musk.

Beyond TBM

We seek to train the engineers of the future. We seek to create a society that relies on sustainable, rapid transit systems. We want to prepare our members for their post-graduation plans by engaging them with hands on, team based engineering problems.

Washington Hyperloop was founded in 2015 to build a concept pod for the first annual SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition started by Elon Musk. Over the years our team won a multitude of awards and achieved international recognition.
